Valley View Canine LLC's Dog Daycare is unique to most pet boarding, pet sitting, or other doggy daycare centers you may have encountered. Valley View Canine LLC has been an obedience school first and foremost, serving the Gresham area for the past 25 years. We added our Gresham-based dog daycare as a service to our clients several years ago. Therefore, our daycare program is not a 'free-for-all', it is a structured environment for the dogs to play and socialize, but manners and basic obedience are kept in place.
Our Gresham-based doggy daycare is clean and well run with attendants that have had at least a couple of years experience in our obedience classes with their own canine partners. Some training with your dog is preferred, but not required. If not currently in our dog training courses, your dog would be required to go through a short evaluation with us (about 15 minutes) to assess social skills with people and two or three 'neutral' dogs.
We do not have large, out of control groups. Instead, we offer a comfortable setting with a manageable number of dogs. We have four areas to divide dogs into depending on their temperament and needs. This allows the dogs to have adequate interaction and exercise without being overwhelmed. This also prevents unwelcome behaviors and enhances good play skills and socialization. We look forward to serving your Doggy Daycare needs throughout the Portland, Gresham, Fairview, and Troutdale areas.
